SYSTEMS CHANGE INITIATIVES
and LINES OF INQUIRY
Our Systems Change Initiatives tackle complex, multi-factorial societal challenges. These initiatives are big and ambitious, taking a holistic approach and requiring deep collaboration across sectors to generate long-term, sustainable change. Each Systems Change Initiative corresponds to a Line of Inquiry - that is, a question about our "big picture", which guides all our efforts. Each Line of Inquiry represents an area of investigation where we are actively learning, researching, and exploring new ideas. Through the inquiry process, we develop a deeper understanding of what collective wellbeing really is, and what we have to do to achieve it.

How can we nurture social change leadership at the grassroots in a sustainable and meaningful way to ensure that we are creating social change with - rather than, for - disadvantaged communities?

How can we build partnerships between schools and communities to ensure that education is inclusive, participatory and conducive to the wellbeing of students and their communities?
FLAGSHIP PROGRAMS
and LINES OF REFLECTION
Each of our Flagship Programs is a strategic initiative designed to drive measurable impact in specific areas of societal need. These programs correspond to Lines of Reflection, embodying a thoughtful, reflective approach that draws on research, consultation, and lived experience. The focus is not just on action but also on critically evaluating and refining our work to ensure it is aligned with our broader vision of collective wellbeing.

PROJECTS
and LINES OF ACTION
Our Projects are smaller, pilot initiatives designed to address specific needs within communities. Each project corresponds to a Line of Action, following three key stages: Discovery, Learning and Practice. The Practice stage focuses on putting knowledge into action. Here, we develop an evidence base by applying our learnings in real-world settings, testing the effectiveness of new ideas, and refining them based on outcomes.
- The Discovery stage is an exploratory phase that captures our spirit of curiosity and innovation. Here, we test ideas, uncover new possibilities, and respond to emerging opportunities, laying the foundation for future action.
- In the Learning stage, we actively engage with the community and gather insights. This is a dynamic, iterative process where we refine our approaches based on hands-on experience, building on what works and adjusting where necessary.
- The Practice stage focuses on putting knowledge into action. Here, we develop an evidence base by applying our learnings in real-world settings, testing the effectiveness of new ideas, and refining them based on outcomes.
